The initiative follows revelations that 80% of Nigerian startups are registered in the US, with 60% of venture funding emanating from American sources. The proposed hub, termed the "Nigerian Digital Technology Exchange Programme Hub," aims to capitalize on the strategic significance of the Bay Area, fostering economic growth and innovation through collaborative efforts between Nigerian and US tech entities.
